Hans Olsen Ottestad was born circa 1680 at at Ottestad Søndre farm near the village of Ottestad Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.2 He was the son of Ole Halvorsen Veflingstad and Guri Kjeldsdatter Elton.1
Hans died circa 11 February 1737.2
