Elizabeth Charlesworth was born circa 1840 at Lancashire.1

Elizabeth Charlesworth was listed as a lodger in the household of Elizabeth Horrocks in the 1861 census at the village of Egerton near the town of Bolton, Lancashire. She was recorded as being 52 years old; also living in the house was her step-daughter, her two daughters and a family of lodgers. There were two children in the house with the same surname, also lodgers - probably her children.1 Elizabeth Charlesworth was a factory worker.1
