Thomas Darby was born in 1789.1
He married Sarah Collyer, on Saturday, 27 March 1813.2,3
He was recorded as head of household in the 1841 census with Sarah Collyer (which other records indicate is his spouse) at Three Tuns, Finchingfield, Essex. Also in the household were his son Uriah.2 His occupation was recorded as being a cooper in the census.2
Thomas died in June 1848 at Essex.1,4 He was buried on 10 June 1848 at St. John the Baptist, in Finchingfield, Essex.1
In September 1848, an advertisement was placed in the newspaper to sell his brewing equipment, hay, house furniture and wagaons and carts.5
