She was born circa 1819 at Kilmallock, County Limerick.1 She was the daughter of Michael O'Donnell.1

Mary O'Donnel emigrated from Cork on 18 April 1841 on the 'Eleanor.1' She arrived on 21 August 1841 at Sydney.1
She was a house servant, employed by Thomas Gore & Co.1
