Lucy Harriet Battle was born in 1897 at the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood.2 She was the daughter of Charles John Battle and Mary Taylor.1
Lucy died on 19 January 1912 at at the Alfred Hospital in the Melbourne suburb of Prahran.3,2
She was remembered in by family in death:
Her body was interred at Booroondara General Cemetery at the Melbourne suburb of Kew. She shares a headstone with her mother and father.5

To the land of the leal,
Inserted by her loving sisters and brother, Jessie, Elsie Tom and Alice.4
