Emanuel Oldman was born circa 1868 at Herringfleet, Suffolk.1 He was the son of Emanuel Oldman and Eliza Reamsby.1

He was recorded as living with his twin brother, his father, as well as perhaps his mother, his mother's husband and their 3 children in the 1871 census at Manthorpe's Lake, Herringfleet, Suffolk.1
