Jane Lake Olliver was also known as Janet.3,4 She was born on 3 July 1859 at Goulburn, New South Wales.1,5 She was the daughter of William Olliver and Ann Grubb.1

She married Alexander Black, at The Wesleyan Parsonage in 1879 in a Wesleyan ceremony at Parkes, New South Wales..6

Jane died on 22 February 1941 at 47 Johnson Street, in Forbes, New South Wales, at age 81.3 Her body was interred at Forbes Cemetery at Forbes, New South Wales. Old Presbyterian Portion, Row D, Lot 10.7
