James Gilbert Kennedy of Finnarts Glenapp was born on 3 August 1898.1 He was the son of Rolande Fergussone Kennedy of Finnarts Glenapp and Flora Glencairn Whiteside Shaw.1
James was a Lieutenant with the Royal Air Force, 65th Squadron during the Great War.3
James died in April 1918 at France at age 19.1
