Maud was born circa 1890.3,4 She was the daughter of Henry Cabe and Elizabeth Mellon.2 Maud and Charles lived in 1914 at at 175 Canning Street in the Melbourne suburb of Carlton.5 Maud's occupation was given as 'home duties' in 1914.5

Maud Cabe married Charles Henry Oaten, son of Charles Henry Oaten and Catherine Carroll, in 1914 at Victoria.1 Her body was interred at Coburg Pine Ridge Cemetery on 12 August 1915 at the Melbourne suburb of Coburg. She is buried in the Church of England Area, Plot COE*D***544..6

Maud died in 1915 at Victoria.3,7
