Frank Ellison was born circa 1853 at Tranmere, Cheshire.1 He was the son of William Poppelwell Ellison and Martha Ann Leonard.1
He was recorded as living with his parents, two servants, and his three siblings Leonard, Herbert and Jesse in the 1861 census at Upper Seymour Street, Tranmere, Cheshire; he was recorded as being 8 years old.1 Frank Ellison was a scholar.1
Frank may have died circa June 1871 at Birkenhead Registration District, Cheshire.2
