Eileen Lydia Grace Reid was born on 12 May 1904 at the Launceston suburb of Invermay.1 She was the daughter of John Barclay Reid and Miriam Fairbrother.1

Eileen died in August 1986 at age 82.1 Her body was interred at Springvale Botanical Crematorium on 27 August 1986 at the Melbourne suburb of Springvale.2
