Miriam Fairbrother married John Barclay Reid, son of William Reid and Mary Jane Fookes, at St. George's Anglican Church on Saturday, 23 May 1903 at Battery Point, Tasmania.1
Miriam died in 1947 at the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy.1
