Lawrence Brandreth was born circa 1817 at Ribbleton, Preston, Lancashire.1
He married Catherine Mary Cattrall, in a Church of England ceremony at St. Mary St. Denys and St. George on Wednesday, 29 August 1838 at Manchester. Catherine was a minor.. Together, they were to have eight children.2 Lawrence Brandreth was a 'chymist.2'
He was recorded as head of household in the 1851 census with Catherine Mary Cattrall as his spouse at 1 Park Road, Preston, Lancashire. Also recorded living in the house were their six children and a servant.1 Lawrence Brandreth was a chemist / druggist.1
He was recorded as head of household in the 1861 census with Catherine Mary Cattrall as his spouse at Preston, Lancashire.3
Lawrence died on 9 December 1862.4
Lawrence's will was probated on 31 March 1863. The estate was valued at less than £450.4
