Mary Richardson Fooks was baptised on Sunday, 24 December 1837 at Melcombe Regis, Weymouth, Dorset.2,1 She was born on 24 December 1837 at Weymouth, Dorset.1 She was the daughter of William Samuel Fooks and Maria Jane Richardson.1 Mary Richardson Fooks emmigrated from London on 5 July 1840 on the 'Waterloo' with her parents and three siblings, her grandmother, along with other members of her father's family.3,4,5 After a voyage of about 5 months John arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia, on 9 November 1840 with her family.4,6,5
Mary Richardson Fooks married Erasmus Paull at Holy Trinity Church on Monday, 2 January 1854 at Adelaide.7
Mary died on 29 December 1923 at the Adelaide suburb of Magill at age 86.8,7 Her body was interred at West Terrace Cemetery at Adelaide.7
