Henry Harold A. Nicholson was born on 16 June 1887 at Leicester.1 He was the son of Alexander Peter Nicholson and Martha Elizabeth Rowland.1
He was recorded as living with his parents and younger brother Ronald in the 1891 census at Marmion Road, Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire. He was recorded as being just 3 years old. The house of Peter Nichoson's family was in the same street as his father and his aunt's.3
He was recorded as living with his mother (his father was probably away fishing), a lodger and his siblings M., Dorothy and J. in the 1901 census at 11 Marmion Road, Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire. He was recorded as being 13 years old.4 His occupation was recorded as being a telegraph messenger in the census.4
Henry died circa March 1972 at Wirral Registration District, Cheshire.1
