George William Hindmarsh married Gwen Lloyd, daughter of John Lloyd, at St. Phillips Presbyterian Church - Watt Street on Wednesday, 13 February 1946 at Newcastle, New South Wales. They were 31 and 23 respectively.1
George died on 13 July 1991 at John Hunter Hospital, in Newcastle, New South Wales, at age 77.1
