Mary Fooks Lipson was born circa 1816 at England.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Lipson and Elizabeth Emma Fooks.1

Mary emigrated from England on 20 March 1836 on the Cygnet with her parents and siblings. The Cygnet stoped in Rio de Janeiro for cuddy stores.1,3 Mary arrived at South Australia on 11 September 1836 with her parents and siblings. The family spent 4 months on Kangaroo Island before moving to Port Adelaide on 6th January 1837.1,3


Mary Fooks Lipson married Henry Inman on Saturday, 19 January 1839.4

Mary died on 20 January 1898.4
