He married Amelia Playl, daughter of Jerimiah Playl and Eliza Darby, at Independent Chapel on Tuesday, 7 November 1865 at Chipping Ongar, Essex..1 William lived in March 1901 at Hampstead Infirmary and Union Workhouse, Hampstead, London.1
William died circa June 1902 at Camberwell, London.1
