Ebenezer Horatio Ault was born on 15 August 1832 at Lichfield, Staffordshire.3,1 He was the son of Horatio Ault and Eliza (?)3 Ebenezer Horatio Ault was baptised at Independent Chapel on Tuesday, 18 September 1832 at Lichfield, Staffordshire.3 He was an apprentice printer.4

Ebenezer Horatio Ault was listed as a servant in the household of Thomas Wayte and Catherine Goodman in the 1851 census.1

He married Maria Ruth Wayte, daughter of Thomas Wayte and Hannah Sharpe, circa January 1861 at Ashby-de-la-Zouch Registration District, Leicestershire..5,4

He was recorded as head of household in the 1861 census with Maria Ruth Wayte as his spouse at South Cottages in Pound Street, Lyme Regis, Dorset. He was 28 years old. His age was recorded as being 28 years old. Also living in the house was a servant.6 Ebenezer Horatio Ault was an independent minister.6

He was recorded as head of household in the 1871 census with Maria Ruth Wayte as his spouse at Mount Pleasant, Clavering, Essex. He was 38 years old. Also living in the house were three of their children and a servant.7 Ebenezer Horatio Ault was a minister of religion at Clavering Chapel.7

He was recorded as head of household in the 1881 census with Maria Ruth Wayte as his spouse at Seames Lane, Clavering, Essex. He was 48 years old. His age was recorded as 48. Also in the house were three of his children and a servant.8 Ebenezer Horatio Ault was a Congregational Minister.8

He was recorded as head of household in the 1891 census with Maria Ruth Wayte as his spouse at The Manse in Skeins lane, Clavering, Essex. He was 58 years old. His age was recorded as being 58 years old. Also living in the house was their youngest son and a servant.9

Ebenezer died on 5 July 1910 at Viewlands, Dorking, Surrey, at age 77.10,11

Ebenezer's will was probated on 3 September 1910. The entire estate was granted to George Arthur Foster Taylor, an estate agent, and wasto the value of £608 10s. 10d..12 Ebenezer Horatio Ault was also known as Reverend.
