Richard Richardson was born in 1791 at Derbyshire.²

Richard Richardson married Maria Bryer, daughter of Joseph Bryer and Ann (?), on Tuesday, 11 March 1823 at MacKworth, Derbyshire.²

He was recorded as head of household in the 1841 census with Maria Bryer (which other records indicate is his spouse) at Church Street, Chellaston, Derbyshire. Apparently, also living in the house were his wife, their six children and three servants The 1841 census only recorded adult ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years; his approximate age was recorded as 50.³ Richard Richardson was a farmer.³

Richard died circa December 1850 at Derbyshire.²
