James Symonds Manthorpe was also known as James Manthorpe.3,2 He was born on 29 November 1781 at Acle, Norfolk.2 He was the son of James Manthorpe and Elizabeth Allen.2 James Symonds Manthorpe was baptised at St. Edmund on Sunday, 16 December 1781 at Acle, Norfolk.4
James may have died in 1807.2
He married Lydia Lark, at St. Nicholas on Thursday, 1 March 1810 at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk..5
