Kennedy Dean was also known as Kennedy Deane. He was born circa 1725 at Cork.1 He was the son of Alexander Deane and Grizelle Kennedy of Bennane.1 Kennedy Dean was a Navy carpenter circa 1750.2,1 He was a worker at the dockyard at Gosport, Hampshire.2

William Deane and his uncle Kennedy were 'all but eye witnesses' to the sinking of HMS Royal George and the loss of more than 800 lives at Spithead Anchorage, Dartmouth, Devon.3 Kennedy lived in August 1789 at Gosport, Hampshire.4

Kennedy died circa 1796 at Gosport, Hampshire.4
