Eric Reginald Jameson

Eric Reginald Jameson was born in October 1879 at Bolton, Lancashire.^1,3 He was the son of John Jameson and Eliza Miller.¹ Eric Reginald Jameson was baptised at St. Peter's on Wednesday, 5 November 1879 at Bolton, Lancashire.⁴

He was recorded as living with his parents and siblings Norman, Beatrice and William in the 1881 census at 25 Arkwright Street, Bolton, Lancashire. He was recorded as being just 1 years old.¹

His father died 26 January 1885 at the approximate age of forty four. Eric was aged 5 when this happened.

He was recorded as living with his widowed mother and older siblings, Norman, Beatrice and William in the 1891 census at 106 Park Road, Bolton, Lancashire. He was recorded as being 11 years old.⁵ Eric Reginald Jameson was a scholar.⁵

He was recorded as living with his mother and brothers, Norman and William in the 1901 census at Bolton, Lancashire. He was recorded as being 24 years old.⁶ Eric Reginald Jameson was an architect's draughtsman on 31 March 1901.⁶

Eric Reginald Jameson married Lesley Beatrice Hinnell circa March 1911.^7,8

He was recorded as head of household in the 1911 census with Lesley Beatrice Hinnell as his spouse at 50 Whitecroft Road, Heaton, Bolton, Lancashire. He was 31 years old. Their house had 5 rooms.⁹ Eric Reginald Jameson was an electrical engineer for the mains department of the borough council in April 1911.⁹

Eric died on 20 August 1953 at Southport, Lancashire, at age 73.¹⁰

Eric's will was probated on 22 October 1953. His estate was valued at £3929 14s.¹¹
