Lena Libbesson was born in 1882 at Sydney.2 She was the daughter of John Libbesson and Sarah Ann Cambridge.2
She married William Donald Nicholson, a fireman, son of Donald Henry Nicholson and Anne Smyth, on Wednesday, 28 March 1900 at the Sydney suburb of Balmain..3,4
It has been suggested that Lena left the children when they were young, and was never to be mentioned again.5
Lena died before March 1927 at Balmain.6
