Alfred Stanley Woods was born on 24 August 1901 at Angaston, South Australia.1 He was the son of Frederick James Woods and Eliza Edith Giles.1

Alfred was also married to an Aborigine and had a child named 'Sunny Woods' by her, but her name and relevant dates are not known.1 William Alexander George Woods and Laura Denny were divorced on 15 August 1925 at Broken Hill, New South Wales, after it was determined that Laura had committed adultery with William's brother Alfred.2

Alfred Stanley Woods married Laura Denny on Saturday, 11 June 1927 at Broken Hill, New South Wales. They were 25 and 23 respectively.1

Alfred Stanley Woods married Dorothy Elizabeth Lehman on Saturday, 15 February 1964 at the Port Pirie suburb of Solomontown, South Australia. They were 62 and 42 respectively.1

Alfred died on 21 March 1982 at Red Cliffs, Victoria, at age 80.1
