Ellen Moynihan was born circa 1895.2

Ellen Moynihan married Thomas Patrick Hinch, son of John James Hinch and Margaret Reidy, on Wednesday, 11 April 1917 at Queensland.1,2 Ellen and Thomas lived in 1925 at at 'Aurora' Ithaca Street in the Brisbane suburb of Normanby.3 Ellen and Thomas lived in 1937 at at 564 Boundary Road in the Brisbane suburb of Spring Hill. 28 years previously a Hinch family (Helena Agnes, Margaret, Michael John, Thomas, Thomas Patrick and William Henry) lived in this same house.4,5 Ellen and Thomas lived in 1943 at at 44 Ithaca Street in the Brisbane suburb of Kelvin Grove.6

In Alice Grace Hill's will on 7 August 1947 Thomas Patrick Hinch and Ellen Moynihan were named as heirs. It isn't known how the people named as beneficiaries, Thomas and Ellen Hinch, were connected to Alice.7,8 Ellen and Thomas lived in 1949 at Kelvin Grove.9

The will of Alice Grace Hill, in which Thomas Patrick Hinch and Ellen Moynihan were named as heirs was proved in May 1952. Mary left to her beneficiaries a property described as "Resub. 26. sub. 14. sec 2, por. 12, parish Nerang".10,8 Ellen and Thomas lived in May 1952 at the Brisbane suburb of Normanby.1 Ellen and Thomas lived in 1954 at Kelvin Grove.11
