Lily Motton was also known as Lily Motten.2 She was born on 12 April 1889 at Ulverstone, Tasmania.3,4

Lily Motton married Eric Vere Fookes, son of Rev. Henry Samuel Cox Fookes and Jane Maria Murray, at St. Martin's Church on Tuesday, 5 May 1914 at Queenstown, Tasmania. They were 25 and 23 respectively.5,6,7 Lily and Eric lived in 1928 at Lindisfarne, Tasmania.8

Lily died on 26 September 1977 at Lindisfarne, Tasmania, at age 88.4
