Allan Herbert Edgar was born on 6 February 1864 at Stanley, Tasmania.1 He may have been born on 6 February 1864 at Port Sorrell, Tasmania.2
Allan Herbert Edgar married Mary Kate King, daughter of George James King and Catherine Jane Robinson Berjew, at St. Luke's on Sunday, 6 January 1884 at South Melbourne. They were 19 and 19 respectively.1 Allan (and presumably his spouse Mary) lived in 1914 at Stanley, Tasmania.2
Allan died on 8 January 1945 at age 80.1
