William was born at Nurse Munning's Maternity Hospital on Monday, 1 January 1912 at Launceston, Tasmania.1 He was the son of John Leslie Breheny and Dora Fookes Reid. He presumably lived with his parents at Bridge Street, in Toowoomba, Queensland, in 1913.2 He presumably lived with his parents in 1922.2 William lived in 1936 at Stephen Street, in New Norfolk, Tasmania.1
William Bruce Breheny married Margaret Jane Winch at 5 Stoke street on Saturday, 7 September 1940 at the Hobart suburb of New Town. They were 28 and 28 respectively.1 William and Margaret lived in 1943 at Ringarooma, Tasmania.1 William and Margaret lived in 1954 at 56 Robin Street, in South Launceston, Tasmania.1
William died in May 2000 at Hobart at age 88.1 His body was interred at St. Andrew's Anglican at Perth, Tasmania.1
