Elizabeth Williams

Elizabeth was born circa 1720. She was the daughter of Richard Williams and Ann (?)¹ Elizabeth Williams was probably baptised at All Saints on Monday, 21 May 1725 at the village of Wyke Regis near the town of Weymouth, Dorset.¹ Her common name was Betty.²

She married James MacKenzie, by licence in a Church of England ceremony at All Saints on Monday, 19 January 1750 at Wyke Regis, Weymouth, Dorset..^3,1,4

Elizabeth and James MacKenzie became the parents of daughter Ann Williams MacKenzie circa 1759.^5,6

Elizabeth, as the mother of the bride, attended the wedding of Ann and William Fooks in a church of England cermony at All Saints on Saturday, 27 May 1780 at Wyke Regis, Weymouth, Dorset.. . Ann was two months pregnant when she married, and William and Ann were both under 21.^3,1

In 1801 a 'widow Mackenzie' was living in Melcombe Regis, Weymouth, Dorset.¹

Elizabeth may have died in December 1801.⁷ Her body was perhaps interred at All Saints on 22 December 1801 at Wyke Regis, Weymouth, Dorset.⁷
