Nathaniel was born circa 1756. He was baptised on Tuesday, 13 July 1756 at Even Swindon, Wiltshire.

Nathaniel Edwards married Ann Berjew, daughter of Samuel Berjew and Catherine Wiltshire, on Thursday, 21 July 1796 at the village of Up Cerne near the town of Cerne Abbas, Dorset.1

Nathaniel died on 16 March 1831 at Yeovil, Somerset. His body was interred at St. Mary's on 22 March 1831 at the village of Bradford Abbas near the town of Sherbourne, Dorset.
