Jannet was born circa 1758. She was the daughter of James McNab and Margaret Stewart.2 Jannet McNab was baptised on Sunday, 8 October 1758 at Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland.3,2 As of circa 1765, Jannet McNab was also known as Janet.1
She married Daniel Brown, on Monday, 22 March 1779 at Comrie, Perthshire..4,2
Jannet and Daniel Brown may have become the parents of John Brown circa 1789 at Perthshire, Scotland.5
