Felix was born in 1895 at Mount Hope, New South Wales.2 He was the son of Daniel James Grogan and Margaret Evyline Nicholson. Felix Joseph Grogan was a hairdresser circa 1912.3 He enlisted 9 August 1915, and embarked from Sydney 15 Jan 1916 on the HMAT Osterley in the 2nd Infantry battalion. he was a private and was killed as part of the 1st Light Trench Mortar Battery.3

Felix died on 21 September 1917 at Belgium.3
