Catherine was born circa 1880.

She married James Hosnell Nicholson, a butcher, son of James Brown Nicholson and Lydia Horsnell, on Sunday, 15 June 1902 at Mount Hope, New South Wales. They were married at her parents' house.. James and Catherine went on to have three children together.1,2

Catherine died on 11 March 1966.3 Her body was interred at Rookwood Cemetery (Catholic section) at the Sydney suburb of Rookwood. Section: 8 Row: 27.3
