Vincent was born at a private hospital on Saturday, 17 November 1917 at the Sydney suburb of Marrickville.1 He was the son of Donald Joseph Nicholson and Martha Rose Horsnell.
Vincent Leslie Darcy Nicholson married Florence Fay Brennan at St. John's Catholic Church on Saturday, 17 August 1940 at the Sydney suburb of Auburn.2
Vincent died on 15 January 1996 at at Rotherham Nursing Home in the Sydney suburb of Ryde at age 78.3
