Alice was born circa 1865.

She married Eleazar Owens, a miner, in a Presbyterian ceremony at the house of John Kenworthy on Wednesday, 26 May 1886 at Carcoar, New South Wales..1

Alice and Eleazar Owens, aged 32 became the parents of Ivy Pearl Owens on Saturday, 23 November 1889 at Mandurama, New South Wales.2,3 Alice and Eleazar lived in 1891 at Mandurama, New South Wales. It is most likely that the Owens family lived in Mandurama from the birth of Ivy up to and beyond her marriage in 1911.4 A photograph was taken of Eleazar and Alice Owens c1900. Alice's occupation was given as 'domestic' in 1902.5
