Sarah Oaten was born on 29 January 1847 at Trull, Somerset.1 She was the daughter of James King Oaten and Mary Facey.1
Sarah Oaten married Joseph Loyns on Thursday, 30 July 1868 at West Buckland, Somerset. They were 21 and 26 respectively.1
Sarah died on 14 May 1900 at Reynoldston, Wales, at age 53.1
