Charles Bradlaugh Leyret was born circa September 1882 at Bolton, Lancashire.1 He was the son of Gustave Louis Leyret and Emma Oaten.1 As of 1885, Charles Bradlaugh Leyret was also known as James Callaghan when his mother marries John Callaghan.2 When he joined the Army in the Great War he changes his name again toJames Medex.2 He and Louis Frederique Leyret John and James Callaghan go to war, and work on minesweepers.1,2
Charles died on 28 December 1919 of gunshot wounds.1
