Laura Denny was born on 21 July 1903 at Maldon, Victoria.1
Laura Denny married William Alexander George Woods, son of Frederick James Woods and Eliza Edith Giles, on Tuesday, 2 November 1920 at Broken Hill, New South Wales. They were 17 and 23 respectively.1 Laura Denny and William Alexander George Woods were divorced on 15 August 1925 at Broken Hill, New South Wales, after it was determined that Laura had committed adultery with Laura's brother Alfred.2
Laura Denny married Alfred Stanley Woods, son of Frederick James Woods and Eliza Edith Giles, on Saturday, 11 June 1927 at Broken Hill, New South Wales. They were 23 and 25 respectively.1
Laura died on 18 February 1997 at Mildura, Victoria, at age 93.1
