Arthur Chappelle was born on 5 February 1901.1 He was the son of Arthur Chappell and Elizabeth Florence Clark.1 Arthur Chappelle was christened on 21 July 1901 at St. Paul's, Chichester, Sussex.1 Arthur was a Major with the the Royal Army Ordinance Corps.1
Arthur Chappelle married Kathleen Money, daughter of Charles Money, circa 1925.2 Arthur Chappelle and Kathleen Money were divorced.1
Arthur died on 30 December 1991 at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester, at age 90.1
