Erich Nielsen Houmb was born circa 1737 at Norway.1,2
He married Marthe Monsdatter.3 Erich and Marthe lived in December 1767 at at Bårdset øvre farm Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.4
Erich was listed as one of the parents of the head of household in the 1801 census at at Houmb (or Houm) nedre farm Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.. Also living in the house was his wife, son and five grandchildren. His age was given as 64 years old.1,3 Erich and Marthe lived in July 1814 at at Angelset farm Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.5 Erich lived in December 1822 at Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark.2
Erich likely died on 29 December 1822 of 'old age'.2 His body was likely interred on 6 January 1823 at Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.2
