Simen Olsen Jønsberg

Simen Olsen Jønsberg was born circa 1640 at at Jønsberg farm Romedal Parish, Hedmark, Norway.¹ He presumably lived with his parents at Romedal Parish, Hedmark, circa 1640.¹ He was the son of Ole Simensen Jønsberg and Lisbeth Eriksdatter Jønsberg.^2,3

Simen was said to be the user of the Jønsberg farm after the death of his father in 1668. he had use of the farm until 1707.⁴

He married Anne Pedersdatter Skøien, daughter of Peder Tollefsen Skøien and Marit Torgalsdatter Skøyen, circa 1674. They attested to the validity of Peder Tollefsen Skøien's will on 28 July 1694. Peder was his father-in-law.⁵

Simen died after March 1720 at Romedal Parish, Hedmark.^6,7,1

On Wednesday, 27 March 1720 he transferred deed to Lillehov farm to one of his sons.⁷
