Elise was born on Tuesday, 4 June 1867 at Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.2 She was the daughter of Even Evensen Sørum and Lisbeth Simensdatter Lundgård.1 Elise Evensdatter Sørum was baptised on Sunday, 8 September 1867 at Veldre, Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.2
At the age of 2 Elise emigrated from Christiania (now Oslo), Norway, on 27 April 1870 on the "Josephine."3,1 Elise arrived at Quebec, Canada, on 22 June 1870.3,1
Elise died on 26 August 1938 at Hennepin County, Minnesota, U.S.A., at age 71.4 Her body was interred at Lakewood Cemetery at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, U.S.A.4
