Elizabeth Horrocks was born circa 1781 at Blackpool.1
She was recorded as head of household in the 1851 census at at 30 Blackburn Road in the village of Turton near the town of Bolton, Lancashire. She was recorded as being 70 years old and living with her grandson.1 Her occupation was recorded as being a 'proprietor of cottages' in the census.1
