Mary Horrocks was probably baptised at St. Peter's on Sunday, 5 August 1827 at Bolton, Lancashire.2 She may have been born circa 1831 at Lancashire.1 She was the daughter of Tomason Horrocks.1 Her occupation was recorded as being a cotton worker in the census.1
