Henry Packard was born in 1824. He was the son of John Packard and Elizabeth (?)1,2 Henry Packard was a grinder.1

He married Ann Hill, an illiterate daughter of a glass cutter, daughter of Hugh Hill and Mary (?), in a Church of England ceremony on Tuesday, 6 July 1847 at Sheffield..3,1

He was recorded as head of household in the 1851 census with Ann Hill as his spouse at George Street, Ecclesall Bierlow, Sheffield.2 Henry Packard was an Edge Tool Grinder in March 1851.2
