Mary Ann Oldman was born in 1846 at Somerleyton, Norfolk.1 Mary Ann Oldman was listed as a daughter-in-law in the 1861 census with George and Caroline Manthorpe, her brother(?) Emanuel, and two the Manthorpe children. Her age was given as 15 years.1
