Johne Kennedy of Bennane was amongst the followers of Bargany, who, in 1528, slew Robert Campbell in Lochfergus, in revenge for the slaughter of the Earl of Cassillis at Prestwick, by the Campbells of Loudoun, some time previously. He was fined for not appearing to underly the law.2
