Richard Leslie Shea was born on 22 November 1884 at Hobart.1
Richard Leslie Shea married Eleanora Westbrook Reid, daughter of William Reid and Mary Jane Fookes, at St. Andrew's Anglican on Saturday, 16 April 1927 at Perth, Tasmania. They were 42 and 40 respectively.1 Richard and Eleanora lived in 1928 at 203 Elizabeth Street, in North Hobart.1 Richard Leslie Shea was an electrical engineer.1 Richard and Eleanora lived in 1936 at 209 Warwick Street, in West Hobart.1
Richard died on 3 November 1964 at Hobart at age 79.1 His body was cremated at Cornelian Bay Cemetery on 5 November 1964 at Cornelian Bay, Tasmania.1
