Thomas Richardson Mackenzie Fooks was born in 1834 at Melcombe Regis, Weymouth, Dorset.1 He was the son of William Samuel Fooks and Maria Jane Richardson.1 Thomas Richardson Mackenzie Fooks was baptised on Wednesday, 2 April 1834 at Melcombe Regis, Weymouth, Dorset.1 He presumably lived with his parents at Melcombe Regis, Weymouth, Dorset, in 1837.2 He emmigrated from London on 5 July 1840 on the 'Waterloo' with her parents and three siblings, her grandmother, along with other members of her father's family.3,4,5 After a voyage of about 5 months John arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia, on 9 November 1840 with his family.4,6,5
Thomas Richardson Mackenzie Fooks married Annie Milliner circa 1870 at Melbourne.1 His body was interred at Melbourne General Cemetery on 17 October 1911 at the Melbourne suburb of Carlton.1
Thomas died on 16 November 1911 at Port Melbourne He died of cerebral haemorrhage and heart failure.1
